Boosting

can you take a look and tell me what ill need to know how much to go.

Wow, its been a while since I have seen an old school boost controller. The guy that installed it has probably already tuned it. You should leave it alone. Messing with it could be hazardous to your motor. Modifications like this were done back before there were affordable aftermarket electronics to handle things. If you adjust that thing and raise your boost levels you should do it only if you are monitoring the AFR through a wide band system, and are monitoring boost levels through an aftermarket boost gauge. If you exceede the stock fuel system capacity you will turn your engine into a grenade. You also run the risk of turning your turbo into a grenade. The CT-26 self destructs at 14 PSI. It dosen't really live long at anything over 12.5 PSI. The more I think about it the more I have to say don't mess with it.

If you really want to modify the engine do it right. Get a metal head gasket, a new turbo system, a wide band O2 sensor controller, a piggy back fuel computer, an aftermarket boost gauge, bigger injectors, and an intercooler.

i dont think u need to take it off, just lower the boost. but if it has already been tuned to a higher psi, then your engine will be running very rich, i think.

Not really. The ECU will see the lower air flow and adjust automatically. That map also only applies under WOT. Durring partial throttle cruise the ECU monitors AFR via the O2 sensor and trims the fuel mix to 14:1. ECUs are pretty good at trimming the mix. Where people run into trouble is when they start flowing more air than the fuel system can deliver.

the boost is actually lower so i was told not mess with so i cant return.

what psi is a stock 1991 boosting? its like 6-7. I just want to be sure.
