Front right wheel speed sensor 98 sierra

I have the Anti-lock idiot light on and have checked the two front wheel sensors at the first connector.
The drivers side is about 1400 ohm's,the passenger side is open.
My piece of crap chiltons book doesn't mension these sensors but I'm told thier part of the inner bearing.
Is this a tough job or should I go to a mechanic.

Check with your dealer, may be one of the trucks involved in the abs recall or google it to see if you are included.
