1994 Corsica - Help!

I recently discovered my engine had way too much play. I was looking for my engine and transmission mounts when I discovered that my car had no torque strut.

My question is this - Does a 1994 Chevy Corsica 2.2 4cyl come with a torque strut? I know this sounds like a stupid question but I cannot find where there has ever been a torque strut on this car. I have my trusty Haynes but the pictures do not help since they are from a 6cyl - therefore they look nothing like my car.

there are two enine mounts on this motor. one is on the front upper of the engine from the head to the frame above the belt. the other is a torque strut on the front lower of the engine from the block to the frame below the crank pulley.
