mixing paint/ making new colours????

How do most people measure the paint to mix paint. for example I am in the process of building a Jordan 191 F1 car and it reuires something like a 5:1 ratio to get the right colour green. How does one measure the paint. especially seeing that I only start with 10ml of it??

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciatted!
