remote start delema

i hooked up a remote start today and and a few problems along the way. i was able to figure most of them out but am stuck now. i have it all hooked up and everything seems fine but the passlock bypass doesnt seem to work right. when i try starting the car with the remote start the passlock engages and doesnt allow it to start. but when i start it with the key then try starting it with the remote right after i turn the key off and remove it it works fine. im not sure if the passlock stays off for a few seconds after the key is removed or what but its quite annoying and i would appreciate any help.

the remote start is from bulldog and its the RS82P model.

You need a security bypass thing. Not sure the exact term for it.
