How to chirp the tires

It seems like every one is always complaining about the amount of trouble there dub gives them. quite depressing actually:( because i love my jetta and wouldnt trade it for anything else in the world. Its time we drive our dubs the way they were suppose to be driven. Enthusiasm and pride in ownership. So for the first time in a while on this forum, im gonna ask a question on how to get more fun out of my jetta. How do you do a burn out on a 1997 vw jetta 2.0?? can you? thanks for reply

Figure it out, any advice I have will risk you blowing the tranny or breaking an axle or you crash and die or get a ticket or arrested... don't need the law suit. Here's the trick, get the power to the wheels very quickly. If you wanna cheat, put snow tires on it or something...

i did it. It feels very hard on the clutch. i just reved high and dropped the clutch. she didn't seem to enjoy it very well, but good fun:)

Dump water on the ground pull car in puddle... Pull the E-brake up ALL THE WAY.. Rev up dump gas feather gas so you dont just bounce of of the rev limit (unless that's your thing) You dont need water but that will really get you going.. LOL enjoy

Sorry to bring this back to life just though it was funny that someone was asking how to burn out..

My Jetta can do some decent peels, the best way to to it is to floor it usually right after putting it in gear, a lot of the body weight has shifted towards the back, and peeling out is easy in that sense.....also if it's raining, or there's sand on the street (living in Massachusetts lol) it's extremely easy to peel out

when i had a mustang it was so much easier lol that thing Wants to chirp. also, ea put it in 1st gear let clutch out before gaining to much speed and flooring it works well.
