I Rule!!!

Well after my accident with my gs-t i was pretty sad.. today i bought my latest dsm!! It's a 95 gsx, with 116k on the body and 40k on the 6-bolt. It has a pretty major problem. The passenger side upper strut mount rusted and broke. As of right now i'm not sure if it will need to be replaced or if I can weld some new steel in. the body is in pretty good shape the driver's side fender is dented and will need to be replaced also the hood is dented (from the strut) so i'll probably just get a carbon fiber hood. It has an evo 3 16g, a 6-bolt, an act 2600 clutch, new brakes, new tires, k&n filter, some hard ic pipes, a crushed 1g bov, a 3" exhaust and a mbc. so... worst case senerio i'll have to replace the strut tower support ($278) and get a new cf hood (~$500). I'll post some pics of it. Oh the best part...the car was $2000, yeah $2000. aaron and ted have been trying to stab me, and i feel i'll make some new enemies with this post :thefinger

I still can't believe i got this car!! I just finished taking off the strut and some of the little stuff around the support. It helped that the battery is in the "trunk". Here's some pics without the strut (thats me in place of the strut. :loser:

The car came from an...interesting part of Milwaukee. It's going to be even easier to fix then We first though. We are going to order the new body panel from Mitsu. I'll make my brother do a write up on the whole process so you can see what it takes. We also started the car and it runs perfectly. No misses or anything. And it sounds like a freakin beast with just a 3" with no muffler. 2k? Fuck I hate him. On the bright side I am the beneficiary on his life insurance..............

The front bumper is fine, the only thng wrong with the exterior is the driver's side fender, and the hood (excuse for a cf good :iceslolan ) He said he hit a pot hole (holy shit the streets sucked in milwaukee) I'm ordering a cf hood today, anyone have any suggestions? My friend and I were gonna drive 9 hours for it. I started looking at this one that he got and was like wow thats just like the one we're gonna go get... Then it clicked and I put two and two together and was like shiiiiit. lol Oh well, our search continues.

The guy told us someone was going to come look at the car on Sunday and was going to pay $2500. We just all stared at him until he said "ok I'll sell it to you" (seriously). I think with his current accident street another "accident" won't be questioned.

EDIT: Were you able to get a new strut tower area for fairly cheap then?

Yeah i ordered it for $205, I'm not sure but i think it comes with like four different parts from that area, i'll post pics when i get it. I also ordered a cf hood (VIS invader) cause the hood latch was broken off and the hood was dented where the strut hit it.

Cool, our one buddy was telling us about how he could get us the part from the firewall clear up to the bumper for it... Hopefully its the same one your getting. Yeah, I heard the hood was messed up a bit too. The Invader hood should look really nice on it when its all finished.

No i didn't fake the injury i really had whiplash.

20K sounds like a lot of money. I never seen any one get that much cash but good luck :). Dont get confused though , since 35% of that goes to your lawyer right away. Also if you have a doctor that performed any medical examination or helped you in any way he get around 30% of that too. So its like 3 people split the money. My mom had an accident,friends and me and all got around 20K but at the end you get more like 5 thousand or so after the others bastards take some. Its confusing and usually lawyers dont tell you how exactly everything happens but everytone tries to get as much money from you as possible. Good luck and also nice car for 2K. Now you are boosting AWD :)

No I mean I'm getting 20K after lawyer fees, I'm actually getting 29k before fees, as far as the doctor getting 30% i don't think thats true, maybe if he testifies if it goes to court.

I'm DONE!!! I finished the car last night!!!! Now i'm just waiting for my cf hood (coming between 1 and 5 <--GAY 4 hour window) It all went really smoothly, I got some duplicolor paint and it actually looks pretty close. The only thing that was a big pain in the ass was the speed sensor aparently the people who had it before me decided they didn't want to know how fast they were going so they just cut the harness for the speed sensor wasn't too bad though in the process i put new llom on all the wires so now the engine bay looks sexy. I'll take some pics later my camera was being gay so i couldn't take any pics during the project.

Do you mean the covers on my talon? If so they are gts light covers i found them on ebay, but i think you can get them machv but i'm not sure i don't think gts makes them anymore.
