Alright, I'm new here, but here is my problem. I own a 1987 Caravelle, when I bought it, it idoled rough and at slow speeds it shakes. I have replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, distrubutor, pcv, I change the oil about every 3000 km, and I have just done a transmission flush. Can anyone point me in the right direction about this? And onto problem number two, a few weeks ago I snapped the passenger side axel, I replaced that without a problem, and it worked for about two weeks. A few days ago I was driving to work and the spedometer/odometer died on me, the rest of the pannel works fine, and I have checked the cables out, they are all working fine, I believe the problem is withen the sensor at the transmission, I have spent two days looking thru salvage yards for one that will fit with the right connections, I'm not positive that it is the sensor, but thats what I'm lead to believe if anyone can help me on either of these problems that would be awesome.

you should have the 2.2 fuel injected engine, if that's the case, I'm willing to guess that your fuel pump is getting weak. As far as the speedometer, check and see if there is a code for it by turning your key on/off 3xs ending in the "ON" position. If it blinks once then pauses and blinks another 5xs, that's a code 15 for the speed sensor circuit (though not 100% sure if Chrysler on-board diagnostics were that sophisticated back in the late '80s).
