1996 Windshield Wiper Removal?

How do I get it out? I tried and it appearsthatI either have to remove the arm from the motor or a whole bunch of plastic. I can;t even find all of the screws. The Haines book is useless as usual. THey make it appear as if it's just three bolts and lifiting outthe old one. Doesn't look that simple to me.
