I have a 96 talon and I'm looking at some wheels. While I was doing that I saw all different kind of offset sizes. What offset do I need?

Offset is how much the rim sticks out from the center of the rim..I believe?!

For example if you have like a 2 inch lip, you might have a 38 mm offset.

Thats atleast what I thought it was, but what else would it mean the? LOL

offset is how far the lug face is from the center of the wheel in mm. Positive offsets mean the lug face is that many mm outside of the centerline.

It's where the wheel touches the rotor. Anything postive is outward, anything negative is inward. Basically the less the offset, the more the wheel will stick out from the brake. Most FWD or AWD cars use positive (like +30 +40) While RWD uses closer to 0 or even negative. Here's a site with some pictures and a better explaination.
