Just got done hiding a Volant Ram Air under the stock air box that atarts behind the tow hook plastic. No one has even noticed that I put one in.:p Can't wait for the cold air on Friday at the track... "Feed Me Seymor!!!""""

Can't let the thread die!!....

Just polished up the throttle body as suggested by slowprocess and man it made a difference. I know I probably didn't gain any hp or anything like that, but when I get on the pedal there is somewhat of a noticeable difference. I'm sure you guys understand what I'm talking about. Any one with a love affair with their truck would notice better acceleration, 1hp gain or loss.

How did you go about polishing it?

Well, the portion of the throttle body closest to the intake manifold is pretty much already polished, but mine was just EXTREMELY dirty. I took some carb cleaner to it and it shined right up. That's my first recommendation. Second, I took my dremel, cranked it up all the way, and took a metal wire polishing head to the opposite portion (going into the intake tube) for about an hour....cleaned off the particles, and did it again. Shined up better than my wheels! Like I said, if someone else were to drive my truck before and after, they would probably not notice any difference, but I can.

Just a good 1-2 hour project for a rainy saturday.
