04 Yukon Quit's

please help i have a 04 gmc yukon an it will just quit while u are driving down the road.the fuel pump has been replaced,the computer,throttle body.an nothing has fixed it the dealship has no clue what is wrong with it they had it for 2 weeks an still do not know.if any one could please do. THANKS

I have 2000 denali 5.7L it has balls but these trucks have some defected parts that couse big problems and I will never buy another in my life I have wasted thousands $$$ of dollars it includes parts and towing

BEWARE BAD parts:

FUEL PUMPS suck

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR in intake, leaks, this part should last longer

OIL PUMPS, they loose pressure and damage engine=a must replace, I replaced it with high VOLUME pump works great know, some dealers are replacing pumps for same reason

BRAKE SYSTEM not that good when your in freeway keeping good distance from car to car it does not break on time if there is a sudden wreck, it does not stop like it suppost too it slides

TRANSMISSION slipping

and konw I have to replace the CRANK SENSOR
I have experience all this and it is BULL SHIT from a AMERICAN VEHICLE

How does your truck quit? will it turn back on or do you have to TOW it?does it feel it needs fuel? Did you do any modifications after market parts?

Wow. My 98 Tahoe went 94,000 before I sold it -tires, batteries and a MAF sensor were the only issues I had with that. Graet truck. So confident in it I sold it to a friend --- something you normally should not do. He now has 112,000 and had to finally replace the rear speakers and spark plugs.

The 2004 Yukon; 21,000 not one single issue. There's bad with the good I guess.

has the dealership checked the factory installed security system/keyfab problem. There is a SB that deals with a similair type problem with this style vehilce.

Tip on going to the dealer
Ask that only a factory certified gasoline engine performance specialist work on your car.
Not all dealerships are concerned with how repairs are dispatched, and not all dealership techs bother to take advantage of the training offered by the dealer (the vast majority of which is paid training). If the dealer is uncooperative, ask for your money back and call around for a dealer that will accommodate you.
Also when it quits doe it lose spark or fuel?

Not all the trucks are going to be bad you just have to beware I was probably one of the unlucky ones, ONE more issue the gasket from intake to the heads are very delicate and they seem to crack and start leaking antifreeze, My 2000 YUKON DENALI has only 86,000 miles and these are to many problems in a short amount of time for 6 months each month there was something wrong I’m just saying what has happened to me and have experience would not like other people to have the same problems I got sick of towing this shit, NEW shit sucks OLD CHEVY, GMC, FORD carbureted trucks and cars are more RELIABLE , I have a 1979 CHEVY C10 pickup and a 1969 MUSTANG MACH 1 and have no problems with , they run great. One of my friends has a 1973 C10 and another has a 1978 C10 no problems
