dont power an afftermarket sub from your stock amp...
and check to see if youre giving enough air room for that particular sub....

ohh and do ou have an aftermarket headunit?>

Chances are there's not enough cft in the stock enclosure for a 10" sub. Many have tried...the results are mixed but leaning towards not enough air space.

you also want to get an amp with enough watts for the sub cause if you have an amp that doesnt have enough watts when you turn the volume up you'll burn out the driver cause you get distoration and it holds the cone in or out and there is no air moving to keep it cool and like wise if you have an amp that is too powerful you'll pull it out also so match the watts for both
