Retrieving codes

2000 S2000 with about 37,000 miles just had the "maintenance required" light come on. Is there any simple way to retrieve the codes? I know on some vehicles you can turn the key on/off in a certain sequence to get the dash light to flash a series to clue you in. Anyone know of such a thing for the S2000?
