I have an '85 K-20 350 4 Speed. The battery will not stay charged longer than 2 days. A battery load test reveals the battery is good. When I test for voltage from the positive side of the battery to the positive cable (after removing it from the battery) I get a reading of 13+ volts. I have removed each fuse and performed the above test with the same results, 13+ volts. Are there any other tests that I can try?

your dome lights could possibly be on, or the light under the hood, or lights on the sunvisor(if equipped). my parents 74 chevy have the same problem, the hood light was constently on and killing the battery. couldn't figure it out until one night we noticed light comming from under the hood. -oregon712

Is you altenator good? Your alt. will drain the battery fast. Your battery will still show higher volts as long as there is still juice there. You may want to have your alt. tested. Any auto parts store should help you with that.
