HELP!...Dead Cat...

Waddup Cats...ahight...most deff need some info...my Cat wont start...99 v6 ATX...parked it...left nothing on...came back bout 5 mins later...went to start...and NOT A DAMN THING...that 1st attempt the dash came on and all...but first thing the key went to 4th position...ignition...the dash went...and NOT A SOUND....tried jumping it...nothing...i'm talkin no clickin...nada...now I'M SOOOOOO HOPING its not the alt...lol...from the looks of it...it just might be...but i'm not loosing hope....it was too dark to check fuses....so i'm hoping its just that...if ANYBODY got any suggestions...that'd be great...im goin to check on it 1st thing 2morrow...so time is of the essence...thanx

i would think youd be able to jump start it if its the alternator, it could be the battery, i have had a battery so dead that not even a jump start would start it, a jump start wouldnt even make it click it was so dead,
