Quick question....does my '97 Blazer take the 90 degree 9006 bulbs? Or are they the straight ones? I want to pick some up on Ebay and most are listed as 9006 ST/2. Are these the right ones for the lowbeams?

Is it listed in the list from the Sylvania website?
Not being a smart ass, this is just what they have on their site.
But to answer your question, if it is a 9006, it will work.

Silverstars are nice but there are better for cheaper money. I was not overly impressed with them.

I'm using the Silverstar Seal Beam replacements on my "94" Blazer. and I can really notice a big difference form the regular Halogen Seal Beams. I'm also looking at buying the Diamond Backs conversation kits. That way I can us Plasma lighting.

Nice, I did the sealed SilverStars with a jeep cherokee I owned. If my front end damage gets all fixed and I have some extra cash I might go with the Halos. I love the bright lighting and I need as I tow a lot through snow and everything.

If I get silverstars for my low beams should I replace my high beams also?

I put silverstars in a 99 forestor with very good results. W/ my 97 blazer i used a cheap blue set for the low beams, there horrible but i used silverstars for my highs, and i'm impressed w/ my highs but that may be b/c my lows beams are shitty so there is a big diff between the lows and highs I plain on doing an HID conversion in the summer any way

So you drove around with your high beams always on? Or use your highs only when needed? I want to use the silverstars on my low beams so that I wont even need my high beams.

I bought a set of 9006(LOW) night hawks today. I was sick of the lack of night time visabilty w/ the cheap blue ones i picked up they were about 27 bux for 2 of them at walmart, Ill see how well they are at night I went w/ night hawks cuz i herd a few people didnt like the silverstars in the blazer, well for lows beams at least. I have silver stars high and im happy. Ill try to take some pics on the old blue ones, and the new night hawks in a day or two(when ever i find my camera) and if im not happy ill return and shoot for the silverstar.

at the end of the nite my money went to silver star. Having one night hawk and one silverstar, there was a noticeble diff between the two. The night hawks had a yellowish tint like the OEM while the silverstar were whiter giving them the edge i think they were pricy but like somthings in life theres no short cut, im not taking shortcuts when it comes to lighting

Silverstars won't give you that much of an advantage, they don't really put out much more if any lumens than regular halogen bulbs.

i have night hawks for lows and highs and i do not see any yellowish tint to them. they are bright white and the high beams are killer. they are just as bright as silverstars (my friend has them and we parked side by side at night... mine were brighter) and cost 10 bucks less per pair than silverstars.

dont get me wrong both were a big improvement over OEM and the blue bulbs i had, I could see a slight differnce w/ one night hawk and one silver star, i only did side by side test with lows. I could see a very very slight diff i even asked my brother witched one looked brighting by standing in the middle of the car about 10 feet away and he pointed to the silvers. It may be the fact i could have taped in to one side for my fog lights and it could be draing just a lil bit of power, or the fact that i did replace the one head light about 2 years ago, the silver star was in the newer headlight and the one that was NOT taped for the fogs, Ither way im still looking to do a true HID conversion w/ projectors this summer
