Alright i'm 17 years old and i just recently saved up enough money to get my own car. I bought a 1995 S-10 Blazer. The car its self is real nice ive fixed a lot of things on it. Tune up, brakes, tires you know the regular used car thing. But im still having a few problems with my car.

1. The fuse that controls the horn and the rear hatch: something keeps making this fuse blow i have no idea where its from. as soon as i put a new fuse in it automatically blows right there.

2. There is a puddle on the floor of the passanger seat. im 100% sure its rain. It rained real hard the other night i sat in the car with a flashlight to see where it leaked but i didnt see anything. but the next morning when i woke up sure enough there was a puddle. Whats causing this? i read on these forums it might be because the windshield drain is clogged. but where is the drain?

3. the ABS light wont turn off. I put brand new brakes on the car. the guy at the store said that i probably just have to reset the fuse but where is the ABS fuse?

Someone please help me out, thank you.

1. You either have a shorted wire between the horn and fuse box, or rear hatch and fuse box. Gook luck tracing those wires!

2. It could be a leaking windshield seal or even a door seal. Testing with a water hose may work, but rainwater can go places tap water can't.

3. Brakes won't usually activate an ABS Light, but you'll need to check all the connections to all 4 wheel speed sensors, mounted on the wheel bearing housings. also, make sure the sensor isn't mounted too far away from the exciter ring. Too close could break the sensor off. Have the codes ran and see if any ABS codes are stored. It will tell you what wheel speed sensor, if any, is bad.

Sometimes the ABS light will stay on after you fix any problems. Try to clear them by pulling your ECM fuses or the ABS fuse in your fuse panel. Incase you don't know where it is, the fuse panel is located in the door jam on the drivers side. Just open your door and look at the dashboard where the door closes against it.

If that doesn't work, what you need to do is find out if your blazer has an OBDI or OBDII system. Quickest way is to look under the hood. If there is a black box mounted ontop of the overflow tank for the radiator, its an OBDII. You can take your blazer to Autozone or Advanced Auto to have the codes read and/or cleared if there is nothing wrong. Just need to know which system you have to tell the salesman/saleswoman.
