on the web site dsmtuners.com it says to remove the restrictor in the waste gate selenoid. Im not really sure where this is but i have a clue. is it right near the exhasut manifold, and looks like a metal hockeypuck, or is that the wastegate? im not sure where the selenoid is, but once i find that, i know what to do from there.
also, has anyone ever done that and has any opinions or advice? it says it gives u 1-2 more psi. thanks

Removing the restriction on the boost controle silinoid will net you about 1-2psi. Removing the vac lines that run to it, then caping them and installing a MBC will net you as much as you want.
It is dirrectly under the Air box on the 2g.

I suggest forgetting about the BCS resitrictor removal. Yes, it does net you 1-2 psi in more boost, but I had the hardest time in trying to take mine out. I never succeeded, and instead of fiddeling around with it and breaking the BCS, I just got a $40 JoeP manual boost controller and hooked it up in seconds. If your'e planning on running an MBC any time soon, I'd say just leave the BCS restrictor in place. Just my 2 cents.

I just put a wood screw in their and used a pair of pliers and pulled it out.

I tried doing that, but the BCS was stuck in there so bad, it wouldnt even budge. The screw I used simply ate away the plastic of the restrictor!

I popped mine out with a wood screw also with no problem. But, I have another problem. I unhooked my lines from the BCS and put screws in them and put in a MBC. I try to adjust the boost and it never changes it. Do I need to cap the BCS also or what could it be?

I capped mt BCS. Sounds like you dont have the MBC installed correctly.

Well, thats what I thought, But I have the turbo xs bov. The bottom nipple goes to the wastegate and the side nipple goes to any vaccum line. Is this correct?

Hallmans are way overpriced. I have heard lots of good things about JoeP mbc'c (www.joepmbc.com (http://www.joepmbc.com/)) and my friend Mike has one on the way. Hallmans are what like $100? JoeP's are $45 shipped, or you could get like $10 ones on eBay. Becareful though, those eBay ones have been known to shit out on people, however I have heard good things too.
