Sorry to bust your bubble, but you're only going to get that kind of money for a GTX most likely. Even if the car is perfect.

You don't know what the reserve was........ so how can you even make such a negitive comment. My reserve could have been $1600........ could have been $16,000. Your just talking out your arse.
86-87 Intercooled Turbocharged Regal's worth $8000 only do $4500 on E-Bay 99% of the time. Everybody want's to steal something cheap on E-Bay. I put it on there for fun and was very surprized my car even did that much!
A nice GTX is $4500, a REAL nice GTX is $7000.
My 323 is $2000.
My very first local ad came out today, had 5 calls already.
You shop around for $2000 cars recently???

Around here, I saw a 89 323 with low miles in good condition for $2000 Canadian, and it was in autotrader for 3 weeks! (I kept checking their website for GTX's)
