United Kingdom - R32 availability?

been following the release of the 2006 r32 and it seems that the car is going to be available in very limited numbers. i've spoken to a few different dealers and had a play with a demo one. what i'm hearing is that each dealer is only being allocated about 4 each (depends on size of dealership) to sell this year! is that what other people are being told? also that it could be as late as september 2006(!) before i receive the car!!! i'm thinking about a gti instead but i really want an r32... can anyone confirm or deny this info?
