95 Camaro idling prob.

Hello to all.
I am working on a 95 Camaro with a 3.4 ci motor. The problem is that after driving for a while, the idle increases to about 2000 - 2500 r's. If we turn the ignition off and restart, the idle holds for "a while", then goes back up.
Had codes pulled. Replaced the EGR valve and the idle compensating valve/solenoid. The problem is still there. I was wondering if it could be the computer not sending the correct voltage to the ICV. Some one said to oil the shaft of the valve. I used the ol' wd-40. no improvement.
Have found no other codes as of yet. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Just a guess but I would say that the problem is that you have a 3.4 ci motor in it when you should have a 3.4L (207 ci). :cwm27: J/K
