I'm wondering if there are any pricing changes, engine changes, anything! :)
I'm going to get it next year, and I'd just like to know what I'm looking forward to... There are so many cars in that price range that the 330's high price isn't justified any more.. should be higher, but not 10k higher :)

Any word on any changes for the 2003 line-up of 3-series? I am on the fence about getting a coupe or sedan. Any news would be great.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm planning to buy 330ci this year and am researching if there will be any modifications. I went to japanese site and found out that bmw is going to release 330ci with slight modifications in front.
i don't know the details as well as when bmw will release it yet. still reserching...

The info should be out in a month or so. Possible facelifts, valvetronic engines, and other innovations. Who knows. I think BMW needs to upgrade the 330Ci in order to stay competitive with the G35 coupe, CL Type S, etc.

I seriously doubt whether there will be any changes. The 3-series saloon and coupe are being distanced aesthetically from one another for the future introduction of the 4-series, so there will probably not be a facelift. The 230bhp engine is incredible, powerful and smooth; theres no need for it to be revised in any way. In general the 330Ci is by far the class of the field, and for anything that outguns it power-wise, there's always the M3. It would make no sense for BMW to increase the power on the 330 as it would reduce the appeal of the M car

We decided we are likely going to get a 330 and in our talks with the dealer, they said that there were going to be little to no changes for 2003. He wasn't pressuring to buy now or anything, told us we could wait for the 2003 models(he only had a couple 2002's).

Don't know how much truth it holds, but for those who like NAV systems, I think they might replace the CD-ROM based system with a DVD system.

I was told by my local dealer that there will not be the sedan facelift on the 2003 coupes or convertibles. The Nav system will be DVD now and the automatic headlights will be standard. Little else will change for 2003.

I just got off the phone with a local dealer that said he just got word from bmw na that there will be no changes to the 330ci for 2003. He indicated that this is the preliminary language to advise people placing 2003 orders and that there could be "minor" changes to equipment.

Hate to say i told you so, but i told you so. 330 is more than competitive, its the class of the field so no changes are in order
