ub88er l88t honduh civic!! I mean...god knows how many are out there, and those civic hatchs can be pretty fast with an engine swap (most of them are swapped anyways) my friend with the b18c in his civic hatch ran low 14s all motor slightly tuned! what happened to that civracer dude? i'm amazed not a lot of civic owners dont post as much as they should in this street racing forum, anyways.....the story!
so, i was early for work today, about 1 hour early, so i decided to drive around for another 50 minutes or so to past the time, about 30 mintues after, and returning back to my workplace, i see this civic with altezza lights and a can, drive up next to him, and you know....the usually stuff, we switched back and forth between lanes and so forth, u know the drill.....then came to a stop light, dam, why does this always happen? is it just me or does it happen to you guys too? how ironic it was that the light was turning yellow, i switched over lane and he's at my left side. I look over and give the dude a nod, rev just to make sure we're on the same page, although he returned with no rev, god dam, i wish ppl would rev back to confirm the race. anyways, the lights about to turn green and i could hear his engine rev and stay at a constant spot, yep he's gonna go, i follow, light turns GREEN, and bam, i get ahead on launch and from there on, i kept pulling on him, not a lot, but about 1 car length, slowed down for him and thumps up from both of us

Because we know our Hondas are slow. And even the ones with fast Hondas know that nobody is impressed by them around here. Sure some people have tuned built high boost swapped b series turbo hatchies but they probably had to do a lot to get it and don't want to lose it by street racing illegally or maybe they just don't wnat to brag about it. Who cares?

Is it really? I had no idea
and Civics can me modded to be fast...anything can really...I just find that the people I know or know of with "modified" civics have a very very functional spoiler, a body kit (not painted car colour...yet) and an extremely loud muffler
There's apparently this guy in Toronto who has a 9-10s Civic, basically looks stock, and is apparently street legal...now thats fast...

yeah i personally have never wasted my stealth on a civic..however there is this one guy around town that has a stupid wing on it(CRX hatchback) and everytime i try to race him i think god intervenes and lets him slip through my fingers lol.

lol....most cicis i see are ricers, but i live in there area where they turn their civics everyday, just to make it right. i kno of some fast civics. they just look old. IF you see like a really old 88 and under civic, that looks fairly decent, they dont need emissions so many people tune them around here. its usually the newer models that are being riced....but thats not always true

I was just thinking.....Why would I brag about beating a Civic?...unless I was driving the daily driver.
Most streetable Civics around here can't touch me. There are a couple....but they don't come out that often.

In my "10 car garage," a B18C1 swapped hatch+a lot of boost has a reserved parking spot.

If you go into the Honda forum there is a separate street racing area in there. And yes there are some funny ass stories too.
I got revved on by some civic yesterday with some diamond graphicssome crazy drag wing a relocated license plate, a can and an auto tranny, that on the inside was made to look like a short shift on a manual. The funny part is that I put a rice ticket under his windshield wiper at work(honda cars of mesa) only a few days before that. Apparently he didn't get the message

The Civic crowd stays in their part of the forums because everyone makes fun of them, even though they're not ricers. It's the ricers that give us a bad name.
