hard to start 89

I have a 89 it is hard to start some time others it starts right up. I have heard the cam position sensor could be a problem. Any feedback would be great. I hane done all the basic stuff-fuel filter,wires,plugs.It only has 60k miles and runs great otherwise. Thanks

Then why the rush to replace, if there was a problem you would have CEL on, even if it fails the car will still run.
