You are correct, passenger side console behind the panel that pulls off which, I think, has a fuse symbol on it somewhere. No tools required.
Actually I think your owner manual shows its location as well starting on page 5-88.
Why do you want to know where it is? Checking for a blown fuse? The BCM in this vehicle is really known as an "IBCM" the "I" standing for Integrated because it includes a portion of the fuse/relays of vehicle in it.
The owner manual calls the BCM the Instrument Panel Fuse Block because only focus of owner manual is the fuse/relay portion of the IBCM.

I know this is a dumb question but when do you want this circuit to be active? Only when the radio is on? Also where would the amp be located?
Also - does your vehicle have a factory sunroof or electrochromatic inside rear view mirror (I have reasons for asking this) ;)

Thanks for the link - Tapping into the low current ignition switch wiring is not a very good idea. It is one of the least desirable places. If you draw too much power from it you will blow the ignition sensor fuse which will prevent your vehicle from starting.

so what do i do about the remote wire...another forum i was looking at said to go from the power wire...hook up one end of the remote wire to the power wire, up to the dash(or anywhere to wire an easy access switch), and back to the amp....what is your recommendation..
