ok so im getting a c5 here in about 2 months and i really want very quick all motor so i was just wondering what do u do to a c5 to push around 230-240, i already have aem ems and i plan on doing the the little nacks first like i,e,h but i have a budget of about 5000 after motor.
just looking for all your good advice peps

It won't add any hp but a lighterweight flwheel will really help. To get that hp your talking about you'll need to at least get a bigger cam profile(like a stge 2 or 3 cam from skunk2), you may want to have the motor balanced/blueprinted with higher comp. pistons and headgasket.

take her out to 2 or 2.1 first of all up the comp and look for some mean cams
230-240 WHP is alot all motor but can be done.

is it safe if a itr motor is bored out?
and yes it is, but its a dream.

Yes it is safe to take a ITR out.

if you'd feel better just use a b20 block.

Depending how big you want to go look into having it sleaved.

For all motor I reccomend Benson.
