2003 front brakes- any comments

I'm looking for comments on the front brakes/calipers 99-05. It seems mine (2003) are always giving me problems that of course the dealer never acknowledges. Front right wheel was always hotter and always more dust on the rim on that side. Dealer said they "cleaned and lubed the rails" (yeah 3 seperate times they had to do that). I finally changed the caliper myself (100 bucks) and it seems ok. I also just put stoptech slotted rotors on. Anybody else not happy with their brakes?

The first day I owned my 2001 1.8T jetta, I swapped out for the tt(12.3") kit. It was worth every penny. Stock brakes always suck!

actually factory brakes are very efficient, unless you RACE your car on the track every weekend. then they suck balls..
