ok, need to know if all single cam d-series are the same timing belt?
what i have is a d16z6 with a d15b2 head, and theres a d16z6 timing belt on the motor already but i cant get it to fit over the cam gear, so what timing belt would i need? or are they all the same?

hey dude.. if it had a z6 belt orginally i would stick with the z6 belt. just like mini me's n shit the belt is really tight and u gotta work at it for a lil but.. it will work and ur thinking by what lil slack u got on the belt and how much u gotta go.. that shit this aint gonna fit lol but it will!

p.s i seen ppl use a flathead to slowly get the belt on.. if u wanna try it, i wouldntr recommend it tho :)

I thought you had to use the timing belt for the type of head you had?

the y8 belt is 106 teeth, but that'll most likely be too big though.

OH crap. The infamous crank seal. When you downshift into a lower gear the crank seal often blows on the Si's, exspecialy with age. Either look for a motor or pull yours, take it apart, and install a new seal inside the housing. The seal alone is like $200 though.
