G6 Pics

You are right LT1 Man.....the pics of the G6 are not there !
G6 = Grand Am with 6 new body panels ! I just don't get all the
hype over this one.
Now I see they have a 2 door coupe coming out. I think the coupe
looks much better ! But the G6 name still sucks !
Is the entire Pontiac Engineering and design staff on crack ??

The G6 is NOTHING like the GA without the tacky cladding. You'd have to be blind and stupid to make that comment.

I Think you're still wondering on this one.From your comments,I assume you own one of these after thoughts of some engineer's wet dream,or you really want one.My Fiero 355 would suck these up and spit them out as Geo Metros. What's next from these people? A G-7 with a turbo? They have a long way to go to make this granny -box a muscle car . Did they forget they have an all aluninum
V-8 sitting in stock(SS Impala, Bonneville) That would drop right in this thing? Then I could understand all the hyped up commercials,and they would be building "Excitement" JMHO.

fiero, I don't think you understand. The G6 is NOT a muscle car. It's nothing more than a vastly improved sedan and coupe over the Grand Am. That's it.

If you think it's trying to be more than well I feel sorry for you.

I own both a V8 Fiero GT and a G6 GTP. I love both. Also, I know that certain vendors are developing kits to swap the manual drivetrain from a GTP to a Fiero. There will also be a kit to put that 6-speed in our V-8 Fieros. I also expect other G6 parts to find their way over to the Fiero as well. As a Fiero owner, I wouldn't be knocking the G6 as it has a lot to offer our community.

My GTP is my daily driver and I love it. My Fiero is my toy and I love it, too. Different cars for different purposes.

Obviously the G6 is not designed to be a muscle car, but it is a very nice coupe or sedan. My GTP came with every possible option and it was easily the best value of any car in the price range. The addition of an intake, high flow cat and exhaust make this 6 speed a rice toaster. If you are looking for a fun luxury car at a good value, this is the way to go... if you want a sports car, pontiac does make one that will make your fiero a le mans... GTO or Mallet Solstice.
