Pistons swapping cylinders???

I just bought an '05 Sonata, 2.7L V6, 18k miles. It ran perfect for three days then when my wife started it this morning it sounded terrible. (see the title of this thread!) No lights came on. Good oil level. She shut it off then restarted it and it ran fine. (evidently all of the pistons went back in the right holes...LOL)

Anyone experience anything like this and what could possibly cause it? Why would it go away as fast as it came?

This is because you and your wife are both idiots. Of course, that's probably why you bought a hyundai in the first place.. Get a real car...

I`m sure they`re still sitting there, 5 years later, waiting for you to swoop in and rescue them....
