quick question...i have the uz7 option with the 8 speakers and amp....where would the amp be? is it built into the cd player? thanks for any help!

would it be under the passenger seat? i was told it might be there and i can feel a raised up area where one might be under the passenger seat thats not under the driver seat but its carpeted and i cant tell....the reason im asking is i ordered a new cd player and if the amp is build in the cd player im gonna ask more for the one in the car now. thanks!

i know for a fact that it's not built into the factory cdplayer.

could it be like the bose system and be built into the speakers?

i know the cd player is monsoon and the speakers only say delco on them....iono if that helps...thanks

on my 1999 camaro ss the amp is mounted in the spare tire area behind the shock sensor for the alarm. it is attached to a bracket that mounts on the fender bracing, kinda hard to spot unless you are looking for it

my guess would be in the back storage area on one of the sides, i think there is a cubby back there on the drivers side...

found it "powered by single amplifier in RH rear 1/4 panel"
