I just recently purchased a Hollywood Soundlabs class D mono block 1000 watt amp and 2 1280D woofers from a friend of mine. They drop real hard, but the SQ isn't all that great :o My question is, on the amp there is one of those remote base control hookups (looks like a telephone jack) and I was wondering where to get one or could I just make one? Also, this amp has no mounting holes or anything similar, its just a big black piece of metal, anybody have any ideas on how to secure that thing?

well go to Hlabs.com and you could probably find one of those harnesses.

Yup, should be able to pickup the Remote Bass Control from any Hollywood Sound Labs dealer -- you could also find an email address or phone number on the site and ask them how to mount the amp

hlabs.com doesn't seem to have anything to do with Hollywood Sound...??? at least not from their site, but I dunno. I really don't know of any dealers down in S. Fl that carry HSL stuff.

Where in South Florida do you live? I might know a shop where you can go. And did I really have to tell you to try www.hollywoodsoundlabs.com ? There site's under construction anyway.

Sorry that's too far south for me. Maybe you can get one one ebay or something, I don't know, I'm out of ideas.
