strange noises under acceleration

Over the past few days, my car has been making strange noises when the motor is under a load. The most noticable sound sounds like a scrubbing noise with a clicking pattern. I suspect it is tranny related since i can have the car in nuetral and rev it without hearing the noise. I've been told that it may be a cv boot...or a cv joint. Next, there is a faint squeaking noise under accel. You can barely hear it. Once again, the sound only occurs when the motor is under a load. One of my friends told me it might be my clutch starting to go out. Thanks for any help

Sadly it does sound like a tranny problem. Could be a whole list of problem. Is the squeaking noise more of a whirring sound? Wow I can't get my words out exactly.. Ahh! Could be bearings. If anything major is wrong with the tranny, I'd just replace it. I got an engine + tranny for 400 all together so... Tranny repair is no where near cheap.

the squeaking is just a...squeaking sound. Ithe more of a load my car is under, the more noticeable the squeaking becomes. It sounds a litte "whirrey". for the most part its pretty quiet

edit:what motor/trans are you selling?
