I'd like to finally introduce myself. I've posted a few times, but mostly browsed through the enourmous amount of info. here.

I bought my silver '00 G20 last November. I researched it for quite some time before purchasing it. The salesman and I IM'd each other a couple times, and even joked that I probably knew more than him.:p I also had a pic. of the G as wallpaper on my computer months before I even touched one!

My current mod's are as follows:

Eibach springs
Aftermarket spoiler
Xenon lights in front headlamps
17" Edge wheels
Falken 205/45/17 tires
Real aluminum trim
Tint
Auto-fade rear view mirror with compass and temp.
Arospeed exhaust
K&N filter (coming soon)

I've attached a link to my pic's. Oh, the guy in one of the pic's is my ex., I met him at the Infiniti dealership, he was a service writer there, but got a job at Lexus, so I dumped him!:D

Thanks for all your help so far...later!

Hey Phantom,

That is the exhaust tip I was looking for. Care to share where you got it from and how much it cost? Do you have the measurements? Also is it loud, not really looking for something loud.

Thanks a lot,
-smackd0wn

Thanks Smackd0wn!

Here are the measurements:

2.25" Inlet, 3" Diam. Tips
Square DTM
7" Length

Also, I got it from a friend of the family for $120. It emits a low hum...very nice.:D

sheesh ..the drool factor here is beyond comprehension.

No one was this nice to me when I joined ..:frog:

Phantom as far as I can see ...you have the advantage here...and you seem to know your stuff...and that ...IS TRES COOL.

Darn my B&G won't be put in till next week.

speaking of B&G...

I went to the big VW show here a few weeks ago... Waterfest.

B&G had a booth... their stuff looks soooo sweet. I wanted to talk to one of the reps but they were just so mobbed with VW and Audi questions.

Once you have yours in and you and Jason can compare first hand between the B&G and Tein, I will most likely sell my Tein's for the B&G... since I am guessing by looking at the things in person, that the quality is top notch... and I want my easy height adjustability back! :D

No ...But I'm a GIRLY MAN! :D

Besides what difference does it make .....unless Phantom is the only girl on this forum ..then yes ..we have to celebrate. hey I'm doing my best to get more female with G20s without them calling the stops when I pull up beside them...I need a big automotiveforums.com sticker.

Ain't that the truth! :hehe:

Seriously I like the B+G because you can pick your own spring rates. I'll probably end up getting it once my TEINS kick the bucket. I'll sell off the S.Tech springs and get the B+G with a more 'race/street' friendly spring rate.

BTW you guys act like you've never seen girl before! Geez!

Can you please explain how paying 1 compliment, is in anyway indicative of "never seeing a girl before". It's rare that a female is on here and I make one remark and now everyone is on the defensive talking about "drooling, etc"!

Lighten up!!

On a side note, Dprotech! Those pics of that Island you took, where exactly is that location. They look really nice!

laurie, your G20 is very nice, i like it a lot. if you want better use out of your radar detetector you should put it up on the windshield more. right now the sensor is hidden by your wipers and maybe some trim between your windshield and dash. also laser won't work very well there either (laser hardly works on any detetectors, once you pick up the signal he already has you. you have to rely on it to go off for the people in front, otherwise you're screwed). one more reason is that if a cop is behind you, your radar detetector may not pick it up because it is blocked by a lot of things. anyway i don't like how mine looks in the middle, but it does its job better.

Thanks for the tip. I move it when I'm on the highway, but the cops around here already give me dirty looks, so it leave it down there when I'm in town.:)

smackd0wn, just call your local custom exhaust place, and they'll tell you. It sounds fine to me, but I would double check, but that's just the way I am.:D

It's called Chris' Custom Exhaust, and it's on 441 & Pembroke Rd. in Hollywood. Let me know if you're interested, I'm sure he'll give you it at cost. You'll have to let me know what you want - exactly - so he can order it for you.

Hey Chavez,

Boca is a 1/2 hour from me to the North...not too far.:D

Also, congrats on your car, the only thing I ever won was an organ (the size of a keyboard) from my elementary school when I was in second grade.

Hey Phantom,
I noticed your G20 is lowered is a harsher ride now? I want to do it but my girl loves the ride of this car and i dare not touch the suspension for that reason but the height is to high.

2002 G20 Sport, in Miami as well

I got the Eibach, but am regretting it. My shocks are wasted, and it's only been a few months. I would suggest getting coilovers that way you can adjust the amount of drop you want.

I too have Eibach springs on standard shcoks, whats happening to your setup? cos i think i might encounter the same problem. Im finding the ride can get a little bumpy at times but my main concern is that on sharp cornering, the back end seems to step out of line. It almost feels like the reaction from the rear is delayed. Does anyone know if a sway bar will help? and is a sway bar what we would call over here, a Anti-roll bar? therefore, what and wheres the best place to get one from?

Many thanks to all that can help.

I have the same set up as well.

I have sway bar fitted to mine and it did make a difference to the back wanting to step out of line in corners.

As for the shocks stuffing out i have had no problems as yet

yup my shocks are gone.....but replacing it soon with coilovers. I know you can get replacement Konis that work well with the Eibach springs ...but i'm keen on coilovers ...mucho dinero later ..I will have a big smile on my face.

So is anyone willing to spend a little dinero and take the Eibach Pro springs from me ? 1999 g20 ..will fit 2000+ models ..
