4 speed swap

I have an '88 f150 4.9l 4WD with a 4 speed tranny. what would it take to swap in a 5 speed? Would I have to be concerned with the computer and injection/ignition system at all? I want better gas mileage and lower cruising rpm's. I think this swap would do it.
