Car will not start...

Car: 94 VR6 Jetta............

The other day I was leaving for work. The car wouldn't start.... I tried everything... I primed the fuel pump, I got a jumpstart from a neighbor, I tried to push start... nothing is working. I checked the ignition and coil pack. Everything is fine as far as I can tell.... I tried to start it the next day and it started just fine.... I turned the car off and went inside to get somethings like my drivers license. When I came back out the car would not start again. Tonight I tried again this time I had some starting fluid and jumper cables.... The car started up and idled for about 5 seconds then started putting and died.... everytime I get the same result. After a few attempts the lights dim and all of my windows roll down. The car has gas, there is oil, the coil pack is fine, there is coolant in the radiator and overflow container.... What the heck is going on. Somebody please help me............

I feel like I'm repeating my self, but it sounds like a bad fuel pump and that you've run your battery down.
1. Trickle charge your battery.
2. Check your fuel pressure. (see my previous posts).

They have been putting out worse gas than usual since the hurricanes and a lot of fuel pumps have been getting gummed up.
