2002 Rsx type S 66k miles white manual leather and everything. From a dealer for $16000. Good or should i keep looking? since its from a dealer whats a good strategy to talk down the price? and even if i get the price down, usually how much lower will they go. Thanks

thats a little high, considering the car only cost about $24000 new. I would talk them to at least $14000. Also that car is gonna cost a ton more to insure than your civic.

any ideas on how to talk them down lower than 14000. the thing is i need a car asap. and i know i shouldnt let them know that.

Tell them you won't buy it unless they will sell it to you for under $14,000.

if you're going to buy it for sure, go in there w/ a check and tell the salesman that you'll write it out right now for $14k if he says ok, you pretty much have to do it, but if he says no just leave.....most times they'll kinda chase you down if you walk off. Its kind of a prick move, but it works!

All good advice. Going in armed with a Kelley Blue Book printout isn't a bad idea either.
Prime thing is to be ready to walk away. They need the sale more than you need the car. Once you walk away and they come after you, it's in your control. But watch, they'll probably try to get you with add ons/warranties and such.
