question about compression ratio on mini me

hey guys, i just bought a y8 head for my b15b7, ive been reading up on what all needs to be done to make it work, i understand it all, exept people say it raises the cr. I need the compression to be 9.2:1 or lower for boost, what can i do to make cr lower? (besides getting low cr pistons)

Using a thicker headgasket is just asking for trouble....you're going to blow it out! The only real way to lower CR....the right way...is to get low comp pistons. If you're boosting, you don't necessarily need to get low comp pistons. It depends on the power you're going to make. Most D series engines will hold 225whp or so.
