Getting ready to tackle the job myself next weekend and am looking for any tips/suggestions. I've got the Chilton manual and while it seems fairly in-depth, I know I'll run into some issues not addressed in the book.
Has anyone used the Chilton or Hayner manuals to perform this job? If so, can you let me know your thoughts/experiences with either of these as far as accuracy and ease of use.
Also, any tips you can share would be greatly appreciated...not looking forward to the job, but saving $700 is incentive to give it a try!!!

I have found using a muffin pan helpful in keeping the screws organized. Masking tape and a pen to mark plugs. A notebook to make notes about locations of wire routing or vacuum line routing etc.
