The easiest way to locate a leak is to place cardboard under the car and let it sit. If there is a leak it will show up on the cardboard and give you an idea where it is coming from based on the location on the cardboard. In your case I would check the oil to see if it is milky (looks like chocolate milk) if it does you have a leak in the intake manifold gasket and need to replace it. If not then look for an external leak like a bad hose, leaky thermostat housing or sensor. Once you try the cardboard trick you will probably be able to identify where it is coming from.

Have the mechanic check your intake manifold gasket and also look for cracks in it. These cars on the intake were made pretty cheaply. After I had my Intake manifold changed with 1 from the junkie (100$ compared with400$ from the dealer). 2 Cracks right where sensor fits. Now I have a new planter for my front yard.
