1974 Guidematic auto dimming bypass

I have a '74 Coupe deVille with a no-headlights problem which I have traced to the "Guidematic" system that is supposed to automatically change from high to low beams when it senses oncoming traffic. Does anyone have any advice on bypassing this system?

Thanks to all,
Ryan

Turns out it's really easy. Let me know if you'd like to know how.

I have some of the Guidematic parts from a '78 Fleetwood. I'm not sure if they are interchangeable, but if you could use them, let me know!
