Lost reverse gear

1994 GP SE 3.1 liter engine just lost my reverse gear but I'm still able to go forward in drive. Is this definitly any expensive transmission repair or is there anything else I can check?

If reverse does not function at all then you are probably looking at a rebuild or replacement. It is possible that the solenoid is gone but requires a partial teardown to get to it. Have it checked at a transmission shop. They can give you a better idea of what you are looking at!

Your looking at an easy $500 bux just to take the trans out then add the labor and parts for the build.

I have seen the servo bust. its the one on top of the trans by the u bend
