Clutch gone, sell it or scrap it?

My 1995 Rodeo has 119K miles and the clutch went out. The mechanic tells me it was a CV joint on the left side that bound up and the resistance burned out the clutch. He is quoting me $1,650 to have the clutch and CV joint replaced. I am thinking of trying to sell the Rodeo instead of getting it fixed. How much should I try to sell it for? I don't have the money to fix it and I already have another car that works fine. The engine runs well, but the body has some rust. Any thoughts?

Sale it!

You'll definitely get people that are interested, as it's just a springin young chicken.

If that engine's been taken care of someone will get MANY more years out of it, 119k on these engines is nothing.

If it were me, I'd simply park it til I could fix it - it would make a great 2nd car, even 1st car, for a long time to come.

A clutch is a wear/tear item, but yes, they do get $$$.

I wouldn't dream of scrapping it - someone will be interested, especially in a 4x4.

If you lived closer to me, I'd do the work for half that.
