I'm looking to buy a CAI but not sure if I should get the AEM or INJEN. I have read some of the previous threads and everyone seems to have the AEM but I kinda like the polished INJENs. Can some one help explain the difference, if there is a difference. Thanx

Well, I'm in the same boat as SliverSpec V, I have been looking into an electric supercharger. Only about $300(us) and only engages while at full throtle. The switch connects to your throtle linkage. Has a K&N cone on the end. Not too shabby on paper. I'm just wondering if anyone has had/heard/knows anything about it. Oh yeah, I'm pretty clue-less about the CAI thing my self. If anyone could help out.

i've talked to people and they tell me that the injen and aem are all about preference. My friend has a celica club and the club uses mainly injen and aem. they seem to like both and they both work well. some people have told me that the aem works better but it seems that it is just because of their preferences and not actual fact. i think that both should work just as well. i went with the aem though. just a matter of preference

Any clue how much increase I can count on? Like what's low end and/or high end? Some how I was under the impression you could get 10hp out of a CAI. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything along those lines.

well, looking from THEIR dyno charts.... AEM gains more HP and torque than Injen, but different dynos give different results....but Injen has a nicer look to it... i went for the AEM though

well i'm gonna say what everybody else has been saying. i've heard that AEM and INJEN are very comparible. both very custom fit. like stock. so you won't have to worry about that. just based on what you want to pay or what you want it to look like. i'd say go with which ever one you can get a better deal on. thats what i'm gonna do.

if you go to the aem website, there is actually a dyno chart there for the spec. the graph shows nothing in change that would be below the stock horse power

I would definitely like to see that dyno chart on the aem website but I don't know their site address, someone help, please!

here is the charts, it's not the official chart, but it's pretty accurate to AEM's dyno chart....personally, i wouldn't follow this chart because companies usually exaggerate the performance of the product...i would go with the riders' dyno charts, and by the way, any of u guys have ur se-r dynoed, please post here, thanx....peace
