Listen I don't have a 350Z but I do have a Nissan 240sx with several mods.

I can tell you with all the mods I have put on my car I experienced the biggest change with a good set of tires. I have Falken Azenis just for you information. The car just sticks to the road in both the rain and dry and it really boosts your confidence level.

A lot of people will tell you to get exhaust or an intake but really you won't notice much if hardly at all a performance difference. I have a blitz intake that I had to remove because it didn't pass emissions. Not only that but I have RS*R GT2 exhaust and sure it is cool at first but after awhile it just gets annoying because the exhaust is so damn loud even with the silencer.

I can't say to much about purchasing a turbo kit or supercharger kit seeing I don't have either but I would recommend those if you want some more you can actually feel power because my friend has an SR20det and it is fast as hell.

Whether you listen to my advice or not is your decision but I would stay away from the exhaust because you will just get pissed off just as fast as you bought it. I don't care how bad ass you think you are at first, the noise will get to you especially if it is a daily driver.
