Need a crankshaft or ?? Please help!

Could you knowledgable people please help me? I "inherited" (someone owed me money) a '93 Mazda MX3, with a "bad" engine - I've been told i need a crankshaft, and I cannot find one anywhere - Can you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks. i'm in AZ but the car is actually overseas, so I will have to ship the item when i find it - - location isn't important.

Also, is it true you can use a 93 ford probe parts for this car too? Or will that screw it up?
