1999 monte ls brakes/elecitral

my lo trac light comes on every time i brake and tonight when i stepted on the break pedal i lost all power in the car it still was running headlights went out radio off and all dash lights went off everything what could it be i've had nothing but problems since the the second cat they had to put in HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is your battery in good shape? Is the alternator putting out 14+ volts? It sounds like the alternator could have a bad diode and is not providing enough voltage to keep the ABS system energized, or the computer that controls the electrical system.
