Try autozone.com/repairinfo, this is tough to walk a newbie thru this in this venue.

Nothing will fall out of the top, just be careful and clean. The metering rods going back together can be hard at times to line up with the main jets, the bend easily at the narrow ends.

finally replaced the TPS. code 21 no longer showes up. the surges while ideling are gone. the problem that i now have is that the motor misses during idle. when i accelerate it , it runs fine. when i go back to idle it misses then shuts off. i replaced all of the vaccum lines that looked suspicious. any ideas for this problem. thanks, john
