looking at a 93 R1

hey all. i am looking at a 1993 rx7 r1 for sale a buddy of mine is selling the car for 8 grand. right now the only problem that i know of is the 5th gear doesnt like to go in sometimes, is this a worthy car to buy or is the price to high. what do you guys think pick it up or keep looking

8k isn't to bad, but you should look into the clutch problem before buying. Have you driven the car or looked it over? There could be more severe problems w/ the clutch.

yes i have looked the car over and the thing is clean as could be. no other then the tranny problem and he said that it isnt all that bad it is just every once in a while it is troublesome and i have test driven it and it drove fine i had no problems with it when i drove it
